WCAG 2.1 AA Accessibility Statement

Accessible Organizations Group LLC | Last updated: March 2026

Our Commitment

Accessible Organizations Group LLC (AOG) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. As a consultancy focused exclusively on ADA Title II digital accessibility, we hold ourselves to the same standards we help our clients achieve.

Conformance Standard

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the conformance standard referenced in the U.S. Department of Justice’s 2024 final rule under ADA Title II for state and local government digital content.

Measures We Take

AOG takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of this website:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and meaningful reading order
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 AA requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately
  • Keyboard accessibility for all interactive elements, including navigation, forms, and links
  • Descriptive link text that identifies the purpose of each link
  • Form fields with visible labels, clear instructions, and accessible error messaging
  • Responsive design that supports text resizing and reflow without loss of content or functionality
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second

Testing

AOG tests this website using a combination of automated tools and manual evaluation:

  • Automated scanning with axe and WAVE
  • Manual keyboard navigation testing
  • Screen reader testing with NVDA
  • Color contrast verification using PAC 2026 and browser-based contrast checkers

We test when content is published and during periodic reviews. Accessibility is not a one-time project — it is an ongoing commitment.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full conformance, some limitations may exist:

  • Third-party embedded content (such as booking widgets or video players) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We evaluate third-party tools for accessibility before integration and select the most accessible options available.
  • PDF documents published on this site are assessed for conformance using PAC 2026. If you encounter a document that is not accessible, please contact us and we will provide an accessible alternative.
